Regional Highlights

With high sunshine hours and settled weather, the Nelson Tasman region’s spectacular scenery and diverse natural beauty entices visitors from far and wide. Famed for stunning landscapes, boutique wineries, a burgeoning craft beer industry and vibrant arts scene, the region is also home to three national parks, including New Zealand’s only coastal national park, the Abel Tasman.

The region is well positioned to attract corporate conferences, association groups and meetings as there is easy access with direct Air NZ flights from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, Origin Air flights from Palmerston North and Wellington and Sounds Air flights xxxx plus Air2There

A range of different sized venues throughout the entire region means everything from executive meetings and retreats to conferences and gala dinners can be catered for. Nelson is a great 'concentive' destination - a place where conferencing is an incentive. Incorporating activities into your conference programme or business tourism plan will help boost delegate numbers and motivation and make your event memorable.

Consider delegate half day or full day excursion into the magnificent Abel Tasman National Park with a blend of fine cuisine, a hike and cruise, or a wine tour visiting specialist art galleries, an art event that involves the team painting fridges as a team building exercise, a golf tournament, kayak trip, a cool quad biking and sky-wire experience or just a nice spot for some R & R for delegates and accompanying partners.

You could also consider something more adventurous with skydiving, a helicopter trip, an amazing race hidden treasure event or a lazy afternoon out enjoying one of our three magnificent National Parks.

There’s plenty to do for delegate and partners and we have an extensive range of delegate activities available.
